It has been a great couple of weeks, been focusing a lot on my training and phase 3 in my bodybuilding lifestyle. It has been a fantastic start and there nothing to it but to do it.
Something that really changed my mind and my thinking a year ago was when I started to shift my focus from just seeing where I want to be in 2, 3, 5 and 6 years. I still do that, but my fiancee helped me shift my focus.
She told me to start focusing on how my perfect day would be instead of just focusing on where I wanted to live and how the house will look like etc. She challenged me!
So I took a whole day and wrote down how I would want my day to look like, what time would I want to get up, how would I start my day, What did I do after breakfast and the rest of the day, how and which people would I spend my day with.
This absolutely changed my thinking and my focus because now I knew what to truly work towards and I also could see what type of job suited me. Is it possible to have a office 9-5 job for me? What kind of people would I have in my life?
I got a lot of answers doing this exercise, that’s why I think this is a perfect way for everyone to start a path towards your dream life. Nothing is to big or to small, it is your life and you decide what you want.
After you have done this you also need to have the belief that it is possible for you to have it, that’s the next step. If you don’t believe it it will never have it.
The third step is to start searching for tools that can take you there, to your perfect day. Is it to work at a big corporate company and works your way up the ladder to one day becaome the CEO?
Or is it that you want to spend as much time with your family as possible and working from home and have a family brunch everyday?
Maybe you never want to have an alarm clock, you want to go and workout every morning without stress?
Step by step:
1. Write down your perfect day, be as meticulous as possible.
2. Believe that you can have it, truly believe that this is the day I can have.
3. Start searching for tools that can take you there, what type of job do you need to have, what type of people do you need in your life, where do you need to live for this goal to be possible.
4. Have it and live life on your terms. I can’t say this enough, life is to short to live for somebody else and to short not to live life exactly as you want it. Just believe you can and deserve it!!
