Parma Italy!

Hey guys!

Back in Visby after an amazing weekend in Parma Italy. The first thing I wanna say and what I realized this weekend is how much there is to learn and discover around the world.

There is not enough time to do everything but we must make the most of the time that is given to us. So don’t waste any more time, this is what life is I personally think. To learn, to discover, to meet new people, to see new places and just be curious. 

I am going to work my ass of so life can be like this for me and of course my loved ones around me. 

Parma was great, I was there with Marina and her sister and boyfriend. We started the weekend on Friday with a cooking class at the Barilla Academia.

This was a totally new experience for me and something that I really needed, right Marina?;) 

It was fun, learning and a lot of laughs. We made pasta, gnocchi, seabass and an amazing yoghurt dessert. 

The next day we went to the place where they make Parma ham and also the Parma cheese. It was very interesting to listen to the history and how everything is a family business of generations.

Later we went to this AMAZING vineyard for lunch and wine tasting. Here I fell in love a little bit, the scenery was fantastic and it was miles and miles of grapes. At that particular vineyard they made 12 or 13 different wines. 

In Parma the sparkling wine is very popular and especially red sparkling wine. So I had my first taste of this and I really liked it. 

The food culture in Italy is good maybe not something for me right now, but maybe one day. Here they eat small dishes over a longer time and drink different wine to each small meal. It is more for the social and of course enjoying the fine cuisine of Italy. 

Of course I went to the gym, one of my favorite parts when I travel is to try out the ”typical” local gym. Here in Parma I went to a place named Fisi labor club just 2 min from our hotel. 

The gym was good, 2,5/5 I give it. Mostly machines and dumbells up to 22kg, no place for squat or deadlifts but a smithmachine was there. I did legs so I did leg extensions, leg press and squat in the smithmachine. More sets since I only had 3 exercises. But I got the job done! 

Today Sunday I might train depending on the time before we leave, then I am going to do arms and arms you can do almost in any gym and get a great workout. 

I did arms then we did spend the rest of the day out on town before leaving for the airport. Amazing weekens with great people. Now it is 2 weeks until Budapest!
